"A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS"

This quote downplays the comparative value of visuals and text. And while we KNOW how powerful images are, we don't have the time to keep up with the constant content creation. There’s plenty of data that makes the point very clear. Although text still has an important place in marketing, research proves that photographs are far more powerful drivers of engagement and conversions.

  • 190% of the information processed by the brain is visual.
  • It takes only 13 milliseconds for the human brain to process an image.
  • The human brain processes images 60,000 times faster than text.
  • People remember 65% of what they see, compared to ten percent what they hear.
  • In responses to a recent survey, 95% of B2B buyers said they wanted video content.
  • Publishers that feature visual content grow traffic 12 times faster than those who don’t.
  • Most people only read 28% of the words on a web page.
  • 45% of website visitors will leave after only 15 seconds of reading.
  • When people hear information, they’re likely to remember only 10% of that information three days later. However, if a relevant image is paired with that same information, people retained 65% of the information three days later.
  • Posts that include images produce 650% higher engagement than text-only posts.

FAQ

What should I do to prepare for my session?

I suggest having anyone you'd like to be In the Images to arrive dressed and ready to go. We will start with portraits.
I don't require much but I do need Is a small table to be set near a window for the Individual and up close shots. A large table for the plates/items to move to once they've had their moment. Once I finish Individual shots I'll take more candid photos of all of the products or set them up In a more life-like setting.

When will we get the final photos after our session?

Depending on what package and how many Images we take. My turnaround time Is 4/6 weeks.

How many photos will we get?

I don't limit the number of Images I take or provide. I do have a system of photographing to ensure that there are at least 20 options for each plate. This Is to ensure I capture all angles and highlights of the dish.

What Is a hero Image?

A hero Image Is a full set table Including all of the products from the day. I take several more candid style Images of the food and drinks and space.

What can I use the Images for?

Magazine, social media, websites, online ordering, press releases, books, signage.

How long will It take?

It depends. You can expect the smallest package to be a half day project. I suggest we start early In the day before open or an evening rush. If you can have some dishes prepared before my arrival It saves on time. However, I do not limit my sessions. I make sure we get all the Images we need.

Where will the photos be taken?

I come to you or, I can set the Images up In my home studio and photograph your items on a custom set up or flat backdrop.
If there Is something you see that you like for Inspiration please send It over!

How will you deliver the photos?

You will receive the fully edited high resolution photos on a password protected gallery.

Who should attend the food shoot?

Depending on what package you choose and Images you need, I suggest having your head chef, manager, and any key Individuals at your company.
