Who am I ?

I was raised in The Hudson Valley of New York. I spent years working and living in New York City. I currently reside in Princeton, New Jersey. With my husband Chris, our son Rocco and our sweet little old pug Neiman. Aside from photography I love gardening, driving, bravo and cooking. I hate being photographed and Jonathan Cheban the self proclaimed "Food god".

I don't know everything about weddings, but I'm getting there. My resources in the wedding industry are limitless. I'm always here to help.

My approach is to let your day unfold naturally and I will capture the true moments. No need to recut the cake, I will not be standing on a chair yelling at your grandma for a posed photo. ( unless you want me to )

Do we do portraits? Of course! However, I'm not going to be barking orders at you and making you do anything you don't feel comfortable doing. I will pose, direct you, correct you ( if you have a hair tie on your wrist or something in your pocket) take a step back and let you settle in and capture the real moment.

Derrick and I have been working together since 2008

Derrick and Meg started out together working for Jeffrey Lau in New York City in 2008.

Derrick has an education in design and extensive training in photography. Having been taught together and working under the same (amazing) mentor we have a nearly identical style and eye for detail. Working together is a dream. It's like a ballet. We have a routine, and we don't even need to speak to deliver perfect images that tell a story of the day.

Chris has been photographing weddings with me since 2016

Chris graduated with a degree in design. He worked for several years for a firm in NYC before we met. He still does but sometimes I make him shoot weddings with me. His 9-5 is very time consuming. But, don't feel like you are getting slighted when I say my husband is coming with me. He's an incredibly talented artist with an eye for detail. Plus, I trained him so he photographs the same style as me. And he's comfortable taking orders from me.
